PRESENTATION OF MADAGASCAR Rooted 400 Km eastern from African Coast, Madagascar is part of the 4 biggest Islands of the World and is among the 7 countries that benefit from exceptional ecological resources. The tourism in this emerging destination considered as a giant next to its neighboring of Indian Ocean centers on 3 main lines :

In fact Madagascar is that "one " destination or the mixture of several ? In the East, country of spices which also make the fame of the Big Island ; the beaches set in the luxuriant tropical vegetations are pleasant to play , as to freshen up , with shattering sprays.. In the West on the other hand sloping successive terraces plunge into the Mozambique Channel .That is the country of big rivers and expanses of savanna nonchalantly walked through by herd of zebus. In The North at its own is a « summary » of the Island with its fertile basins , its mountains, its lakes, its harbors and its dreaming small islands
The South displays its partial semidesert immensities to a sun that reigns all over the year. That is the promised land of naturalist and large spaces lovers. At last the Middle lands alternate reliefs often with enormous lateritic gaps dug into the hillside by erosion.
The same erosion may dress its artist habits and sculpt plain wonders. That is the case of rock block of Isalo where imagination recognize a boot, a crocodile, a window, a lion or even an authentic queen with her crown and her coat. Also the case and mainly the Tsingy of Bemaraha, real sharpened lime stones forest emerging from water since 200 millions of years and recognized as a World Inheritance in 1990.
This long geological development has influence over the nature and allows to Madagascar to accumulate records of endemicity estimated at 80% for fauna and 90% pour flora The Island is famous with its 1000 varieties of orchids , but we also could higgledy-piggledy talk about the 7 varieties of baobab, octopus-tree of the south or about Takhtajania of the North-East that has existed since 120 millions of years. The fauna is not the least with lemurs as symbolic feature . About 9/10 of recognized species are only found in Madagascar.
