Day 1 - Antananarivo – Ampefy via Antongona
** Departure to Ampefy, 140km of route towards the west of the country. Appointed by Madagascar National Park (ex ANGAP) as Ecotourist area, that volcanic region, a tourist pole and Geodesic Centre of Madagascar , shelters Itasy Lake ( 45 km2 ) the 3rd largest lake of Madagascar. Stop in Antongona (a little walking) then visit of one sacred hill. There are two king’s huts and one tomb. One of the huts has been converted in a museum. Panoramic site of High Plateau ** Free lunch - Visit of Geysers then heading to Ampefy ** Installation in hotel ** Dinner at Jacky’s ** Overnight in hotel
Day 2 – Ampefy – Antananarivo
** Visit of « Ilot de la Vierge » (with a superb viewpoint). ** Visit of Lily waterfall (23m high) ** Lunch at La Terrasse ** Back to Tana with stop at Lemur’s Park : private reserve of lemurs working for Malagasy Environment Conservation. ** Continuation and arrival in Antananarivo. ** Back to the hotel.
